A holistic virtual retreat, The Unfolding is a course that will help rebalance, reset, and renew your life from the comfort of your home.
The course contains six modules of work that will help you work through limiting beliefs, strengthen your connection to yourself, and help you listen to your innate inner wisdom.
After the collective ordeal that 2020 and 2021 have been, The Unfolding Virtual Retreat is the perfect opportunity to look forward in life with intention and clarity. I know I’m not alone when I say that 2020 put me in a deep rut with life in general.
In fact, it took me a long time to not only see that I was in the rut, but begin to look for a way out — an effort that was not easy, and that I don’t think is quite over. Knowing that I wasn’t alone in this feeling I, along with my friend Christy from Ordinary Traveler, began constructing the premise for The Unfolding.
Why Did We Create The Unfolding?
As someone who likes to grab life by the balls as they say (their words, not mine), it felt like my identity had been stripped away with the stay-at-home orders and complete lack of socialization that 2020 brought. Though I complied with these orders to keep myself and the people around me safe from the virus, I’d be lying if I said it didn’t take its toll.
Halfway through last year, I felt like a shell of myself and realized I needed some extra help to get me back on my feet. I felt unmotivated to do much of anything except watch tv as I watched my physical and mental fitness slowly slip away.
When I became committed to making a lifestyle change and get myself back to the energetic, fun-loving person I once was, it seemed as though the opportunity to create this retreat just fell into my lap. Christy approached me with the idea and, by using her knowledge and spiritual guidance and my ability to organize information and put it into a digestible format, The Unfolding was born.
About the Unfolding Virtual Retreat
What feels like a mini-retreat, this course was created to give you the support, structure, and tools to create necessary change in your life. We hope that this retreat can be used as part of your greater wellness plan and that by taking it you’ll become aware of self-sabotaging subconscious beliefs, learn to trust your intuition and inner wisdom, and strengthen the connection between your conscious and subconscious mind.
To do this, The Unfolding Virtual Retreat includes a series of meditations, written guidance, videos, breathwork sessions, workbooks, and more. We go deep as you connect to yourself and your inner wisdom and give you clarity and self-awareness.
The Six Modules
Module 1: Setting Your Intention
Setting your intention for this course will help you work on an area (or areas) of your life, define your goals, and allow you to see growth as you work through the modules. This module includes a guided meditation to help you set your intention for the course, a workbook, and journal prompts.
Module 2: The Emotional Body
In this module, we’ll be working on exploring the emotional body and releasing suppressed emotions. This module includes a pre-recorded guided Pranayama Breathwork session to release stuck emotions, a workbook, and journal prompts.
Module 3: The Spiritual Body
In this module, we’ll explore the significance of the spiritual body and how to deeply connect to our higher selves. This module includes a guided video, workbook, and journal prompts.
Module 4: The Mental Body
In this module, we will work on understanding the significance of the mental body, and use our subconscious minds to shift beliefs. This module includes a guided meditation, workbook and journal prompts.
Module 5: The Physical Body
In this module, we will explore the joys of movement. This module includes a guided yoga and ecstatic dance video, workbook, and journal prompts.
Module 6: Self-Love & Living Life From the Heart
In this module, we will explore what it means to live life from the heart. This module includes a workbook and ceremonial video.
The Facebook Group
When you sign up for The Unfolding, you’ll have access to our private Facebook group. This group will serve as a supportive community; a place for you to ask any questions that come up, and as a way for members to support each other. We have found that having the support of a community is extremely helpful when doing deep work and changing lifelong habits.
I want to also mention that if you have trauma, or suspect that you do, then consult a licensed therapist before taking The Unfolding, or take the course in conjunction with professional therapy.
